$ARKADE Disclosure

$ARKADE is the token connected to Arkade. This page explains what it is, what it is not, and the risks. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Please read it before relying on anything shown in the Vault.

1.The essentials

$ARKADE is not sold in Arkade. Coins can never be turned into $ARKADE or into money. A claim shown in the Vault is a record of play, not a token you hold. Nothing in Arkade is an offer of an investment, and you should never expect a profit from $ARKADE.

2.How claims work

  • Playing ranked builds an $ARKADE claim. A claim is a figure in our records showing how much $ARKADE your play may make available to you under the rules in force at the time.
  • Releases from a claim happen only through play, are capped by your rank each season, and follow the rules shown in the Vault, such as releasing more when $ARKADE is burned.
  • A claim is not property, not a balance owed to you and not transferable. It can be adjusted or removed for cheating, error or a breach of the Terms, and it ends if your account is closed.
  • The rules for claims, caps, burns and seasons may change as the game is balanced. Changes apply from the date they are announced.

3.Current status

$ARKADE features in Arkade are in development. Until we announce otherwise in the Service, no $ARKADE is transferred on any blockchain from Arkade, and figures shown in the Vault, including burn counters and circulating supply, may be illustrative or preliminary.

4.Wallets

A wallet is never required to play. When $ARKADE becomes transferable, it will go to a wallet you control. We will not hold $ARKADE for you, we cannot recover a wallet you lose access to, and transfers on a blockchain cannot be reversed.

5.Risks

  • $ARKADE may have no value, and any value it has may fall to zero.
  • There may never be a market for $ARKADE, and you may not be able to sell or use it outside Arkade.
  • Laws about digital tokens are changing and differ by country. $ARKADE features may be limited, changed or unavailable where you live, and you are responsible for any tax that applies to you.
  • Smart contracts and wallets can have bugs and can be attacked, and blockchain networks can fail or be congested.
  • We may change or end $ARKADE features, or the Service, as the Terms of Service describe.

6.Not financial advice

Nothing in Arkade, in the Vault or in anything we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to acquire any token. $ARKADE is designed for use in the game, not as an investment.
